Bought this trike on sale for $170 earlier this winter. I wouldn't pay more than that, but I do feel that this is a high-quality trike that is deserving of a premium price. You do need to follow the (poorly written) directions carefully...and read some of the other reviews here for tips on how to ensure success with the assembly process (like installing the optional, but important, seatbelt harness while you are assmbling the bike itself).

The air filled tires give this trike a more sturdy feel. The included pushbar, though, feels pretty cheap--I'd expect more from such an expensive trike. But again, overall, I'm happy with the purchase and our 18-month old is enjoying being pushed around the neighborhood on it. The optional footrest is also a decent idea for the little ones who are just getting used to trikes.
